BOOK LAUNCH: BIOGRAPHER PATRICIA HOERTH ON EVELYN BEATRICE LONGMAN

Hoerth discusses her new biography “Evelyn Beatrice Longman: The Woman Who Sculpted Golden Boy, Thomas Edison, and Other Monuments”. Longman was an important assistant and protégé of Daniel Chester French. Several examples of her sculptural work in the Chesterwood collection are on view in the French Family Galleries at the Residence.
