In Memoriam

We will explore some of the many war memorials and medals French and his colleagues created to honor our country’s veterans and military heroes. Drawing upon universal symbols of sorrow and victory, his works can be found in public squares and cemeteries across America. Heroic generals on horseback, grieving angels, and life affirming fountains were designed to comfort and inspire the loved ones left behind by soldiers over the centuries.
