The B.T.U.s are made up of long time veterans of the Northeast blues and dance club scene.
They have been playing together longer than they care to admit, filling dance floors for more than 2 decades.Bobby and Steve were long time members of The Bluestars and Advanced Phunk. Robert continues to tour with David Bromberg’s Big Band. Rick Leab has been the driving force for more bands in Berkshire County than you can count.
Furnace Brook WineryWe aren’t calling it the Cider Mash Bash for nothing you know. Furnace Brook Winery will be showcasing their French Apple Cidre. This cider won the Big E Northeast Wine Competition – Bronze Medal 2010 & 2009. Made from a blend of Golden Russet and New England apple varieties, Furnace Brook French Cidre’s Special Reserve is slowly fermented on the skins and aged in French oak barrels. Elegantly dry, remarkably complex, a real treat!
Barrington BreweryBarrington Brewery has made a name for themselves by brewing up some of the best and most consistent brews in the Berkshires. They have even gone a step further by making it “green” beer by installing solar panels to heat the water they use to make the beer.
Wandering Star BreweryThe Cider Mash Bash will feature the premiere of Wander Star Brewery beer. Wandering Star Brewery is a new brewery which has opened up in Pittsfield. One of the first batches of beer it has ever brewed will be served up at this event!
Berkshire Mountain DistillersBerkshire County serves host to one of the country’s most acclaimed distilleries, Berkshire Mountain Distillers. BMD will be concocting a special drink made from its own spirits just for the Cider Mash Bash.
Mad Jacks BBQThe Cider Mash Bash will feature some of the best food made in the Berkshires. Mad Jack’s BBQ is a hot new BBQ joint in the heart of Pittsfield. Since it opened in May 2010, their dinner service is always packed and serving up some of the best BBQ this side of the Mississippi!
Chocolate Springs’ ConfectionsAnyone who hasn’t tried the delicacies of Chocolate Springs hasn’t lived. These inventive creations have garnered a Top 10 Chocolate destination in the USA by Saveur Magazine!
Hiltop OrchardsWhat better way to celebrate autumn then with some fresh all-natural apple cider, the same cider used to make Furnace Brook Winery’s award-winning hard cider.
