    “Designing the Lincoln Memorial” Exhibition

    The National Gallery of Art’s Designing the Lincoln Memorial exhibition was ranked 3rd overall in daily exhibition attendance in 2010.  From February 2009 to April 2010, 9,290 visitors a day admired Daniel Chester French’s six-foot plaster model of Abraham Lincoln for the Lincoln Memorial while it was on loan from Chesterwood to the National Gallery of Art in Washington, DC.
